Product Overview
The EchoPAC Software-Only Installer BT13 is used with BT13, which is a versatile and advanced ultrasound imaging device and the EchoPAC is the clinical workstation. Medical ultrasound images are created by computer and digital memory from the transmission and reception of mechanical high-frequency waves generated through a probe or transducer. The ultrasound waves spread through the body, producing an echo where density changes occur. The echoes return to the transducer where they are converted back into electrical signals, thus affecting the quality of images formed. The provided version of software is divided into 4 categories like BIOS, system software, patches and the test versions of the application software. There are two Compact Discs (CDs) used in the ultrasonic devices to store the system information and application software. While the data in the system can be stored in information CD, software can be upgraded by means of the application software CD provided. The upgrading process is easy to install and takes little time before reoperation of the unit, making the software user-friendly. The software is an advanced version and yet simple, hence making it easy to upgrade the PC.
