Product Overview
The DC contactors ca be used in many industrial applications including DC load banks, loop contactors and dynamic braking contactors in adjustable speed DC drives and other special motor control applications. The device is loaded with features that make them easier to install, allow more flexible configurations, lower inventory requirements, and make better use of panel space. The AC non-reversing, 3-pole IEC contactor has a top mount auxiliary contact. The AC contactors are conditionally suitable for switching DC. The switching capacity for DC, using AC contactor i s decreased as the voltage increases, and also as inductance is added to the circuit. The increased contact pressure reduces resistance per phase and thermal load. The device generates less noise even in hard environments with dust and corrosion. It shows better performance in high vibration applications and can operate in a wide operating temperature range from -40° to 70° C. It can be use at elevations up to 3,000 meters without derating, also it incorporates built-in transient voltage suppressor.
