Product Overview
The Patient Handling Power Supply 2 (PHPS2) is a core component of the Patient Handling Sub-System (PHSS). It provides power to the other components in the PHSS and serves as an interface between them and the equipment room. The PHPS2 is rack-mounted in the equipment room inside the penetration cabinet. It receives AC Power from the Power Distribution Unit. It provides DC power and 1-Wire diagnostic communication to the (Scan Room Interface) SRI4, the Dock Assembly, the Physiological Acquisition Controller (PAC), the Operator Display Panel, and the CFB (CAN Fiber Optic Board). It also provides AC power to the Bore Vent Fans and controls longitudinal table motion. The PHPS2 Motion Control Power Distribution Board (MCPDB) receives motion control feedback signals, including position encoder inputs and motor encoder inputs. The MCPDB provides a communication link between the Scan Room Interface (SRI4) module and the motion controller. The MCPDB also provide DC power to a three phase motor configuration to power longitudinal table motion. The PHPS2 has connectors on the front and rear of the unit. This unit can be used with GE's Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Systems. 5167111-51
