Product Overview
The Disconnect Box 1.5T-Resonant Shield & Head Power Splitter consists of 1.5T Split Head Coil QD (quick-disconnect) Box, a female banana jack, cable clip, required labels, screws, washers and molded housing with its covers. These parts are assembled together to form the complete assembly. The 1.5T quick-disconnect box is a cable trap which separates the RF ground from the system to the head coil and also acts as a power splitter to provide 0 and 90 degree half power to the head coil to form a quadrature polarization. This cable trap eliminates the standing wave on the ground that can be picked up from the environment. A RF open circuit is created by tuning the ground shield of the cable in the quick-disconnect box to 63.86 MHz. This assembly can be used with Signa HD 1.5T systems.
