Product Overview
The Upgraded DC Filter Fuse package consists of four numbers of fuses and its associated label. These fuses can give the protection of 700V or less DC drives, inverters, reduced voltage starters, etc., It can provide ultrahigh degree of current limitation with low I2t, thus prevents damage to protected component on short circuit. The controlled arc voltage reduces stress to circuit component during fuse clearing. It has fast speed-of-response to build-up of short-circuit current and the quickly decaying short-circuit current as the fuse suppresses internal arcing together can limit the I2t let through to values substantially lower than the I2t withstand of the semiconductor device.
